Moreover, as NTUA is an academic institution, it aims to channel the acquired know-how in the creation of vocational and academic and SME training material, and the implementation of high quality research work in these specific fields, promoting scientific excellence and advancing European research.
MAIN TASKS OF INVOLVEMENT
NTUA brings to PSYMBIOSYS its expertise on Social Media, Factories of the Future and Future Internet Applications and Systems in Enterprises. Based on its background, NTUA will lead WP5 “Symbiotic knowledge sharing - sentiment analysis in product-service value chains” that will provide the foundations needed for exploiting the concepts of knowledge sharing though different partners/collaborators and the sentiment analysis of the crowd, towards providing the necessary ingredients that will enable the coupling and the successful symbiosis of products and services along value chains, where different partners collaborate and external stakeholders influence the design and production.
Moreover, NTUA as having a vast experience on activities that handle requirements elicitation and modelling, definition of system architectures, and preparation of pilots, will also lead the task related to the preparation of the trial sites and their requirements analysis, as foreseen in WP10, while it will also assist the furniture trial, based on previous collaboration and excellent knowledge of the needs and the use case of that specific partner. Moreover, exploiting its international network of stakeholders and its knowhow in Web2.0 communication, NTUA will also be involved in WP10 “Impact Awareness and Exploitation”.
