Work towards models, processes and concrete implementation tools for a symbiotic design-manufacturing multi-directional collaboration to be extended to all the phases of the Product Lifecycle.

To develop models, processes and concrete implementation tools for a symbiotic product-service lifecycles concurrent engineering in collaborative value chains. Service Engineering principles, PLM-SLM interaction rendez-vous business processes and knowledge exchange mechanisms will be finally integrated into an IT Development Platform for product-service concurrent engineering.

To develop models, processes and concrete implementation tools for a symbiotic knowledge-sentiment harmonic innovation in the product-service design. Embedded and transparent knowledge sharing and protection mechanisms as well as open and crowd-oriented sourcing will be integrated into a networked IT Knowledge Management Platform for knowledge-sentiment cooperation.

Work towards models, processes and concrete implementation tools for a symbiotic service oriented – event driven secure IT infrastructure and middleware where the different platforms above will stem upon and a common FI-based technical baseline.

To develop a reference framework, conceptual methods and concrete guidelines for a symbiotic business-innovation strategy for new product-service development in heterogeneous value chains. Idea Generation, Maturity Models, Business Strategy and Modelling environments as well as Living Lab methods and Virtual Reality environments for Product-Service testing and simulation will be integrated into an IT Strategic-tactical-Operational Decision Support Platform for business-innovation co-existence.
